CJ-13,610 is a potent inhbititor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO) activity (IC50 = 70 nM). CJ-13610 inhibits the biosynthesis of leukotriene B4 and regulates the IL-6 mRNA in macrophages. It reduces fibrosis and necroinflammation of liver in carbon tetrachloride-treated mice. |
